Professional Jewelry Appraisals, Inc. is a member of the Appraisers International Society AiS and offers appraisals and reports that are customized to the clients needs and purposes.  This level of understanding allows the client to choose what level of reporting is needed that will accomplish their purpose and use.
Professional Jewelry Appraisals, Inc. does not engage in any buying or selling of jewelry or related items.  We do not offer any insurance replacements.  We do work with you and your insurance company at a time of loss to be sure your lost item matches the one that was appraised.  Professional, unbiased, honest, researched and clear reporting is the goal.
Our services are available through various jewelry stores and other jewelry outlets that do business in the Tallahassee, Florida. We also travel to Thomasville, Georgia and Panama City, Florida.
Our GIA Graduate Gemologist brings all of the necessary equipment to perform the examination and record the findings for the appraisal. This information is then processed and the final appraisal is returned to the establishment where the appraisal was performed.

The complete appraisal includes all dimensions of the major gemstones, grades, weight of item, markings, a good photograph and an extra copy.  Any diamond or colored stone certificates are verified and included in the appraisal for any future replacement needs.

Appraisal fees are set by the business where the appraisal is performed.
